In English class. We have read the story called 'The fire bird' it is a traditional story from Russia. We enjoyed this book so we decided to write our own sensory description.
When I stepped foot onto the orchard’s grass,I could hear my mouth chattering and my heart was beating like drums. I reached to the golden apple tree.
After a while I was about to have a dose however, I thought of the firebird and woke with a jolt. I felt a warm glow with colours of yellow, orange and red in the orchard. It was the firebird.
The thief had arrived. It elegantly flew through the clear night sky, I could see its marble-like eyes which gave me a murderous look.
When the enchanted bird let out for the marvelous gold apple with its razor sharp beak. I gazed at it like it was the time to stargaze, but I refused and just in time I grabbed its glowing tail:I could almost taste the success.
The firebird let out a huge squak. I pulled it back to me, but the magical creature was to powerful and managed to escape. Just right there, in the orchard, I was holding a gleaming feather from the firebird’s tail...
