..STEM stands for:
On Monday,my team had to try and make the tallest newspaper building, which needed a strong base but guess what? My teem lost! At first we got the idea but then the news paper got crumpled up! But I had a fun time and I got to learn more things! Mistakes are good because you'll learn from it.
On Tuesday, I had to investigate how many drops of water can fit on a coin. My team guessed 10 but the actual number was 44! As I put drops on the coin it would look like a dome and when we counted up to 43 it was a perfect dome shape and on 44 was better but on 45 the water splashed. There was an other experiment we had to build a boat out of modeling clay after all the groups had finish making the boat we tested how many marbles could go in. My group only got two but the other group got 20! It was hard making it but I had fun.
On Wednesday, we did the Egg drop challenge. we had to make a place for an egg to fit in and we had to throw it down. ( 2 metres ) and ( 4 or 5 metres ) I built one with a basket but the side of the egg cracked. my group ( friends ) shouted ''No!'' it was still fun building it.
Today ( Thursday ) I made a boat that looked like a raft with wheels and the hard part was cutting the cardboard into circles and attaching them onto sticks. At the end I got it and there was a team called ' Chocolate Milkshake'' and they won! I've never won any before but it's okay.
I wonder what I'm going to do with Mr. Kenyon?.....
